Biography

Jason Brown is an Unrepresented, Non-Union Actor, currently located in Philadelphia, PA

Jason grew up in South-Eastern Pennsylvania, where he developed a love for indiependent film making and improvisational comedy. In the Spring of 2012 Jason graduated from Albright College, having earned his Bachelors Degree in Theatre.

 

While persuing his undergraduate degree at Albright, Jason became heavily involved with the on-campus improv troupe, Less Than Or Equal To. Eventually becoming the President of the organization during his senior year, Jason was highly influential in helping to bolster and expand the troupe's presence on campus. He also spearheaded the development of the organization's LessThanOrig YouTube sketch comedy project. Student body interest in improv grew with such enthusiasm under Jason's leadership, that several improv and sketch writing courses were added to the curriculum following his graduation.

 

In 2011, Jason performed at the Region II Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival as The Lord of the Underworld in Albright College's production of Sarah Ruhl's Eurydice. In 2012, Jason was one of three graduating Theatre students to received the Walling Leach Memorial Prize from Albright College.
